Lizzie Vance

Lizzie Vance’s biggest passion in life lies in how stories move the world. On big scales and small, she believes that it is through stories that we connect, find each other, and find ourselves, all while anchoring ourselves into a deeper understanding of the bigger picture around us. Lizzie always says it was Harry Potter who changed her life; well, more so JK Rowling, when she realized that a person could actually make a living telling the kinds of stories she wanted to read. Once she realized that, the levies didn’t stand a chance.

In addition to finding the threads of our interconnectedness, Lizzie also holds a B.A. in Creative Writing and an M.A. in Rhetoric and Composition, degrees that taught her how to think from both the left and right sides of her brain. After teaching writing at the college level for seven years, Lizzie made the transition to writing and coaching full time and hasn’t looked back since. When she isn’t working on her own fiction or helping clients with theirs, she spends her time rolling around on the ground with her fur-children or watching sunsets with her husband where they live in Hawaii, though not necessarily in that order. She is currently supporting RTC authors David Haase, Julie Aragon, Joe Schmidt and Tom Lotrecchiano, and Jeff Sinelli.
